Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf for External
Relations and Hajj Dr. Mutlaq Alqarawi
that the first batch of Kuwait pilgrims will arrive in Mecca on Thursday,
adding that the Hajj mission is working day and night to complete all
preparations for receiving the pilgrims. Dr. Alqarawi praised in statements to
'Al-Anba daily' from Mecca yesterday the extent of the cooperation shown by the
Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and extending all efforts
to achieve the convenience of pilgrims .
Alqarawi announced that Hajj mission will distribute land within
days in Mena and Arafa to Kuwaiti Hajj tours, pointing out that not all the p Kuwait
pilgrims will take the train where it is
optional for the Hajj.
As for the delayed visas for
the bedoun (stateless) people this year
and whether they discussed the matter with the Saudi authorities during the
meeting with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj yesterday,
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf said they had not discussed the topic of visas for the bedoun during the meeting,
stressing that it is subject to the approval of the Government of the Custodian
of the Two Holy Mosques.
